College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI)

College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI)

On March 30, 2012, Georgia was one of ten states to be granted a waiver from the Federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB)/Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) accountability measures that have been in place for public schools across the nation since 2001.  The GaDOE released the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) as the new accountability measure for Georgia public schools. The waiver granted Georgia the opportunity to attempt to balance accountability by placing emphasis on performance in all subject areas, Career Tech and Ag Education (CTAE), graduation rate, and post-secondary readiness instead of just English/Language Arts, Math, and graduation rate.

CCRPI is a comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students.
