Worth County High School proudly hosted its Veterans Day Celebration, honoring the brave men and women from the community who have served our nation. The event brought together students, staff, and community members in a heartfelt tribute to our local heroes.
During the program, 1SG Heath Oncale addressed guests, speaking passionately about the importance of Veterans Day and the need to inspire more young people to love and serve their country. His words served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices that make our freedoms possible.
Veterans were treated to a spaghetti lunch prepared and served by Mrs. Broome’s Food and Nutrition classes. Afterwards, guests enjoyed fellowship and conversation.
In preparation for the celebration, veterans were invited to share photos of themselves from their time in service. These photos were featured in a slideshow presentation that played throughout the event.
Worth County High School extends a sincere thank you to all veterans for their service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our freedoms.
