
Congratulations to our WCMS Track team! The boys finished 2nd in the region, and the girls finished 3rd. Many of our student-athletes achieved personal bests, while others placed in the Top 5 of their events. You all represented WCMS well this season!


Congratulations to our PBIS RAM Award recipient for March 2025, Dale Hill! Dale is an 8th grader at WCMS. He was nominated and voted on by students and staff for exhibiting outstanding character.

Congratulations to our WCMS Soccer Teams!
The girls defeated Berrien 3-1 and advanced to the Championship game tomorrow (03/26) against Fitzgerald. The game will be held in Fitzgerald, beginning at 4:30 pm.
Our boys wrapped up a great season, falling to an undefeated Fitzgerald team.

WCMS 8th-Grade Mathletes recently participated in the Dr. Dale Graham Mathematics Tournament at Thomas County Schools. Our students completed a ciphering round and a written test. They did a great job representing WCMS!

WCMS Jr Beta Club recently held a gift card basket raffle. The basket contained over $500 in gift cards and gift certificates. Congratulations to Mr. James Hightower on winning the drawing. His daughter, Mrs. Barney, BOE receptionist accepted the prize on his behalf. Jr Beta Club member Parker Hunt won a $50 gift card for selling the most raffle tickets - an impressive total of 214 tickets! Thank you to all who purchased a ticket to support this fundraiser.

WCMS Parent Meeting (Second Semester) - Tuesday, February 25, 2025 - 6:00 pm - WCMS Cafeteria - We will meet as a whole group to discuss practical tips for busy parents to help their children succeed in school. Then, parents will have the opportunity to visit their child's classroom, where our teachers will share GMAS testing information. Before leaving, we will provide valuable resources to take home to support learning at home.

Book Fair week is finally here! (February 3rd through the 7th)
All classes will visit the Book Fair this week. Parents, guardians, or grandparents are invited to shop with their students in person or online. The link below is our Book Fair website. Here you can see a digital flyer and shop online until February 16th with all proceeds supporting our Media Center. WCMS Valentine's Dance is on Saturday, February 15th, 6:00pm - 9:00pm in the Gym. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Ticket sales are from the front office February 4th - 14th. Refreshments will be available for $1, $2, and $3. Dress to impress and follow the dress code.


Valentine's Day deliveries have a fee of $2. Deliveries are accepted from 8:30am - 1:30pm. No glass items. Oversized items and balloons are not allowed on school buses. If sent, these items will be available for pick up the next school day.


Valograms are on sale February 3rd - 12th from Ms. Suggs' classroom on A-Hall. Blow Pops $1 and Little Debbie Heart Cakes $3. Items delivered to classrooms February 14th.


PBIS Spirit Week is February 10th - 14th. Each day's theme is in the image below. Follow WCMS dress code.
