GaDOE has partnered with Tutored by Teachers to offer SAT test prep for Georgia’s students. This statewide tutoring series will cover effective test taking strategies for SAT Math, Reading, and Writing.

WCHS School-Parent Compact & Family Engagement Plan 2025–2026

Each year, we share our School-Parent Compact and Family Engagement Plan. The 2025–2026 documents are linked below for your review.

The School-Parent Compact is being sent home with all students today. Please complete the acknowledgment form stapled to the compact and return it to Ms. Hill. This serves as documentation that you have reviewed the compact.

The Family Engagement Plan includes an optional input link — “Click HERE to share your thoughts digitally.” We will not be sending home paper copies of the plan, but you may download and print the files using the link below. Paper copies are available upon request from WCHS.

📸 Fall Picture Day Information - September 3, 2025
✨Underclassmen:
Underclassmen picture day will be Wednesday, September 3rd. Picture order forms will be sent home this week through students’ first block teachers.
🌐Orders may also be placed online at https://bpiphotography.net/view-order-photos/ with a debit or credit card. Ordering online is a convenient option that avoids the need to send cash or forms to school on picture day.
🎓Seniors:
•Seniors who have not yet taken a portrait will be able to do so on September 3rd, after underclassmen are finished.
•Seniors who would like a retake may also do so at this time. Retakes are $25.
•Seniors taking a portrait for the first time will also need to pay a $25 sitting fee in order to view the online gallery and select a pose for the yearbook.
•Seniors who prefer for BPI to choose their yearbook pose will not be required to pay the sitting fee.

💍 THE JUNIOR RING CEREMONY
HAS BEEN MOVED TO
📅 TUESDAY, AUGUST 26TH 📅

Parents, the Junior Class Ring Ceremony will be held in the WCHS Gymatorium on Tuesday, August 26th, at 7:00 PM. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you can find your assigned seat and be prepared to present your student with their class ring. Final balances should be paid to the Herff Jones Company no later than Friday, August 22nd. Please see the postcard you received for your balance details and payment information.
