Worth County Schools will be closed Thursday September 26th & Friday September 27th, due to the anticipated impacts of Hurricane Helene.
After conferring with local & regional emergency management officials, as well as receiving guidance from the National Weather Service, we believe it is safest for our students, staff, and stakeholders to have time to prepare for what looks to be a significant weather event late Thursday night/early Friday morning.
We plan to return to a normal school schedule Monday September 30th.
Updates will be shared via Worth County Schools Facebook page and on our district's call-out system.
